Eddie Whitehead

Eddie is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).
After beginning his career with FBD Insurance Company, Eddie specialised in broking, working for a number of Dublin firms in his early years, including eight years at Coyle Hamilton (now Willis Tower Watson), where he was promoted to Section Head. He joined Glennon in 1990 as an Account Executive and was later appointed Director, Client Services.

Eddie is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, with a particular emphasis on those in the construction sector and allied trades, at home and abroad. Eddie has been directly involved or has assisted in setting up many owner controlled insurance programmess , including many high-profile or complex construction projects in Ireland.

In addition to organising, servicing and advising on insurance programmes for clients, his role requires familiarity with the various insurance and indemnity clauses in the myriad of construction contracts and development agreements that prevail in the sector. His role also involves support and assistance in achieving the best results in settling complex claims.
